DOX - Next terminal generation

New generation of access control and time recording terminals called DOX is in its final stages of development. This entirely new hardware platform has been designed from scratch for maximum versatility, connectivity and programmability, without forgetting the economy.

The most exciting feature of DOX platform is its radical modularity. This unique approach will allow virtually unlimited choice of readers, greater electromechanical flexibility and better adaptability to architectural constraints. This aspect is especially important in time recording applications where "all-in-one" form factor has been abandoned and replaced with a touch screen console module.

The new generation will start shipping later this year. Hardware design has been already tested and certified for CE Mark. Currently the work is focused on development and testing of on-board software and host application support. First to come in Q3 is 2-channel access controller, followed by 4-channel controller and Time Recording Console in Q4. The transition between generations will not be rushed and there are no sunset plans for existing terminals.

Due to its modular design, DOX Console will be one of the most compact time recording devices on the market.
