Time Terminal Updated Špica
International introduces newly updated model of their
popular time and attendance terminal. Although it looks the
same, it sports a number of new features.
The new model called DOG20 has enhanced communication
protocol with better diagnostics, improved software
maintenance support, twice the memory over the previous
model and supports even wider range of built-in card readers
including Legic Advant.
An optional built-in fingerprint verification or
identification reader is used for eliminating the problem of
"buddy punching". Various biometric template management
schemes are supported including on-card, on-board, and host-based.
Verification takes about one second and newly introduced
identification, which is a more complex biometric method,
takes less than two seconds. Onboard memory allows 4.000
templates for verification or 500 for identification.
Template enrollment and validation can be performed at the
terminal.
Even though the DOG20 is primarily designed for time
recording applications, it can serve additionally as a
single door access controller. This feature allows a
convenient combination of time recording with access control.
The terminal can also handle a door sensor and an emergency
exit switch.
DOG20 also features built-in power supply with UPS
circuitry which provides many hours of autonomy during power
blackouts (exact time depends on external rechargeable
battery capacity).
