CeBit 2005 is seeing new Spica Time Terminal which combines two advanced security technologies: Bioscrypt's fingerprint reader and RFID reader/writer for Legic smartcards. The terminal supports on-card handling of biometric templates which allows secure fingerprint identification in organisations with large number of users. The solution is becoming known as TOC (Template-On-Card). The terminal is shown at the Legic booth (D44, Hall 17).
